A flexible metal braided bronze connector with welded ends attaches directly to the fan coil unit. Type L copper piping routes the condensate through a properly sized trap and a threaded brass cleanout plug. A vent line ties into the drainage piping before continuing to the plumbing mains. A secondary spill line extends through the ceiling with an escutcheon.
