A cold water supply pipe enters the building through a furred wall above the finished floor, equipped with a shut-off valve. Exterior piping runs down through the concrete pavement, wrapped in insulation and covered with an aluminum jacket. A wall hydrant is mounted in the exterior concrete masonry unit wall and connected to the supply line.
