An eight-inch overflow pipe connects the fire water storage tank to an adjacent sump with a three-foot minimum depth and a three-foot-wide manhole. An eight-inch vent extends from the tank to the room, accompanied by a separate eight-inch riser and a half-inch test plug. The sump discharge connects to a backwater valve and routes via an eight-inch sanitary waste line to a sewage ejector. A four-inch sanitary vent ties into the drainage system upstream of the backwater valve, with all sump and manhole construction designated as by others.
