Medium pressure gas piping enters from the supply line through an isolation valve and a three-inch minimum dirt leg. An Eaton Model 85 strainer is provided ahead of the pressure-reducing valve when using a ventless PRV. Unions are installed on both sides of the valve for maintenance if the assembly is not flanged. A Pete's plug provides pressure testing access before the gas continues downstream to equipment.
