A sanitary vent pipe penetrates through rigid insulation and a metal deck roof assembly, sealed with a pipe flashing boot and hose clamp. The roofing membrane and rigid insulation are installed by the general contractor, while the pipe flashing boot, clamping ring, and sealants are installed by the roofing contractor. A pipe sleeve supports the vent pipe, with a required pipe support located within eighteen inches of the joint. The vent termination maintains a minimum height of twenty-four inches above the finished floor when within ten feet of a roof parapet and must be located at least fifteen feet away from any air intake.
