The 2-1/2-inch culinary water supply line incorporates a reduced pressure backflow preventer assembly, gate valves, and pressure gauges typical of mainline service entry. A pressure reducing valve is configured to deliver a discharge pressure of 65 pounds per square inch, flanked by isolation valves and unions. A bypass line equipped with a globe valve allows for maintenance and flow continuity without interrupting service. All valves and gauges are sized and installed per the architectural and plumbing plans.
