The assembly features a brass cleanout plug and ferrule threaded into the waste piping below the finished floor slab. An access cover and frame are installed with the top of the cover flush with the top of the finished floor, secured using a countersunk screw. The waste piping connects via an eighth bend fitting, with an additional eighth bend specified if the cleanout occurs at the end of the line.
