An access hatch assembly featuring a one-quarter-inch, or seven-millimeter, thick diamond pattern aluminum cover plate spanning five feet overall with a four-foot clear opening. The frame is supported by a center support beam with a T-three-sixteen stainless steel saddle bolted to the frame. The assembly includes T-three-sixteen stainless steel hinges with tamper-proof fasteners and a stainless steel and aluminum positive locking hold-open arm equipped with a stainless steel spring assist. A primer is required on the frame installation.
