A clevis hanger or pipe ring suspends the piping from a threaded rod attached to an overhead structural bracket, with a turnbuckle for vertical adjustment. A diagonal seismic brace connects to the trapeze or hanger assembly and anchors back to the structure using a C-749N fastener typically. The diagonal brace maintains a minimum one-to-one slope ratio to resist lateral seismic loads.
