An alternating current power conduit is surface-mounted against an existing metal stud wall with plaster finish. A Unistrut P1000 channel or approved equivalent acts as the support backing, secured with one quarter-inch self-taping screw embedded into the metal studs at each end of the bracket. A round washer and a B2400 pipe strap or approved equivalent clamp the conduit securely inside the Unistrut channel.
