A Unistrut P1000 channel is anchored to the underside of a concrete-filled metal deck using typical 3/8-inch diameter by 2-inch effective embedment Hilti KB-TZ2 wedge anchors. A threaded rod with a Tolco Fig. 71 rod coupling and a Tolco Fig. 100 hanger with stiffener suspends a Tolco Fig. 200 or B-Line B3170NF adjustable hanger ring. The maximum hanger spacing is 4 feet on center, and the allowable load is referenced to detail 2/S1.34.
