A single beam clamp must be installed at the top of the steel beam with bare metal deck or composite metal deck. The assembly utilizes a Tolco Fig. 65 C-clamp secured with a Tolco Fig. 69 retainer strap with nut maintaining a one-inch minimum clearance. A threaded rod ranging from three-eighths to one-half inch depending on pipe size connects to a Tolco Fig. 200 or equal hanger ring with a lock nut. Alternatively, a top-mounted beam clamp assembly uses a swivel attachment and hanger ring for pipe suspension.
