Anodeless meter riser with an inner polyethylene pipe transitions from below grade to an above-grade exterior building wall connection. The underground polyethylene pipe meets ASTM D2513 and SDR 11.5 standards with ASTM D2683 fittings, installed with an American Wire Gauge 14 copper tracer wire and detectable warning tape located 8 inches to 12 inches below grade. Tracer wire is wrapped around the pipe and brought 12 inches above grade using typical tracer wire clamps. A typical plug valve and union point of connection are installed on the vertical riser above finished grade.
