A gas pipe penetrates a concrete foundation wall through a protective fiber conduit embedded in grout. The annular space around the conduit at the wall face is filled with mastic to make the penetration watertight. Inside the floor slab, a floor plate surrounds the vertical riser pipe. A wire runs through the mitred joint of the pipe sweep.
