A pipe, duct, or conduit passes through an existing concrete wall utilizing a wall sleeve sized to match the specified mechanical seal. The annular space on the dry side is filled with non-shrink grout. A modular mechanical seal or approved equal is installed on the wet side per the manufacturer's recommendations.
