A non-freeze wall hydrant is mounted eighteen inches above finished floor on the exterior wall. The interior cold water supply line transitions through a three-quarter-inch cold water pipe equipped with a ball valve and a water hammer arrestor. The stem length is coordinated so the cold water connection and riser remain tight to the interior wall.
