This plumbing detail shows a parallel pressure reducing valve station connected between a high-pressure side and a low-pressure side. The system includes high-flow pressure reducing valves and low-flow pressure reducing valves arranged in parallel branches. Typical isolation valves are installed upstream and downstream of the reducing valves for maintenance. Pressure gauges with isolation valves are positioned on both the high-pressure and low-pressure sides, with indicated pressure specified to fall at the mid-range of the gauge. A pressure relief valve is installed on the low-pressure side downstream of the assembly.
