A condensate drain line connects to a typical rooftop HVAC unit using a Fernco Series 1056 rubber pipe connector with stainless steel clamps. The piping forms a sealed trap maintaining a four-inch minimum depth and a two-inch vertical difference before incorporating an open vent. The horizontal drain line is secured with B-Line Dura-Copper pipe clamps mounted on B-Line Dura-Blok support bases, sloping either with the roof or at one-eighth inch per foot toward the roof drain.
