A vertical pipe passes through a structural floor slab within a protective sleeve. The sleeve is centered in the core hole and surrounded by packing and sealant materials. A riser clamp grips the pipe and bears directly on the top surface of the floor slab to support the vertical load of the piping run. Two horizontal clamping bolts secure the two halves of the riser clamp around the pipe.
