A natural gas piping run incorporates a seismic shutoff valve connected via typical flanges to an upstream supply and a downstream isolation valve. The seismic shutoff valve automatically interrupts gas flow during significant ground motion. Flanges are positioned typically on either side of the valve assembly for maintenance and replacement access. An isolation valve allows manual shutoff of the downstream gas service.
