Vertical piping passes through concrete floor slabs utilizing either a cast-in-place sleeve or a core-drilled opening. An Anvil Fig 261 riser clamp supports the pipe above the floor slab. Cast-in-place sleeves provide a two-inch annular space, while core-drilled openings provide a one-quarter-inch annular space, requiring scanning of post-tension decks prior to drilling. Caulk sealant is applied where insulation does not occur, and fire-stopping is provided at all rated floors.
