An acoustical flexible duct connects to a sheet metal collar on the air grille, limited to a maximum length of six feet. The duct is supported by a duct hanger consisting of a one-and-one-half-inch wide, twenty-four-gauge strap. Two twelve-gauge ceiling wires attach directly to the grille and anchor to the overhead structure with one-inch Ramset top hat drive pins. The entire grille assembly integrates with the ceiling T-bar grid, which is provided by others.
