An exhaust fan curb is set upon a wood nailer secured to the roof assembly with four #12 by 1-1/2-inch wood screws on each side. The leveling curb is supplied by the manufacturer and installed by the general contractor over existing roofing. A backdraft damper and exhaust duct pass through the center of the curb assembly.
