A round rigid duct connects to the main insulated sheet metal duct using a spin-in fitting secured by number 10 by three-quarter-inch self-tapping cadmium plated sheet metal screws with no pop rivets allowed. A balance damper equipped with a locking quadrant is installed within the run for airflow regulation. One-inch hanger straps support the main duct assembly. The entire rigid duct exterior is wrapped with foil-faced one-and-a-half-inch fiberglass duct wrap.
