A rooftop ventilator is secured to a manufacturer roof curb using number twelve self-tapping screws spaced at twelve inches on center with a minimum of two per side. The roof curb is anchored through the curb flange with number ten screws at six inches on center or every top flute for a metal deck. A control damper is positioned within the duct opening, which is packed with insulation and supported by a galvanized sheet metal closure below the roof to retain insulation around the duct.
