A field equipment controller designated as AHU-TYP connects in a daisy chain configuration with variable frequency drives VFD1 for supply fan AHU-TYP-SF and VFD2 for return fan AHU-TYP-RF. The communication line terminates with an end-of-line resistor and continues with a typical daisy chain connection to the nearest make-up air unit, air handling unit, exhaust fan, and units. Typical makeup air filters and exhaust fan connections are indicated for the typical air handling unit assembly.
