A reinforced concrete housekeeping pad sits atop a structural concrete slab to support mechanical equipment. The pad is reinforced with number four rebar spaced at twelve inches on center in both directions and has a minimum height of three and one-half inches, or greater as required for seismic anchors. The pad extends a minimum of six inches beyond the equipment on all sides. Three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch anchor bolts are embedded into the structural slab at four feet on center.
