A packaged air conditioning unit is set on a manufacturer-supplied roof curb, which is leveled by the general contractor and anchored to a concrete roof with details per the seismic submittal. The roof curb extends a minimum of eight inches above the finished roof, with roofing installed by the general contractor up to the curb. A roof opening is provided for ductwork sized per the plans.
