Round ducts are supported by various configurations including support wire with a minimum of four twists at each end for a maximum duct diameter of ten inches, or steel straps extended around ducts with fasteners for maximum duct diameters of twenty inches. Additional configurations utilize steel strap hangers fastened to structural wood members with folded-over straps secured by lag bolts with washers. Hanger rods paired with support bands and bands above and below provide alternative suspension methods for twenty-inch maximum diameter ducts.
