A horizontal fan coil unit is suspended from overhead structural framing using four five-eighths-inch diameter threaded rods. The unit sits on Unistrut channels supported by hanger brackets and secured with double hex nuts. Spring isolators are installed along the suspension path to dampen vibration. Seismic cables are attached to the unit and anchored to the overhead structure for lateral restraint.
