A pipe penetration through a concrete wall is waterproofed using a sleeve with a variable diameter sized per structural schedules and an EPDM modular seal. A field-applied bentonite membrane and bentonite target are tightly fitted against the inner pipe with bentonite sealant troweled around the penetration. A water-stop is embedded in the wall assembly, while liquid membrane, thorite mortar, and a back-up rod with sealant finish the interior side. Drainage panels and free-draining granular backfill are positioned against the exterior wall face.
