Hot and cold water supply lines route to plumbing fixtures with typical isolation valves installed below each water hammer arrester. Water hammer arresters are located on the supply piping in accordance with PDI-WH 201 and manufacturer recommendations, typically positioned before the last fixture branch. Runouts to the last fixture remain sized no smaller than required for the arresters. Piping continues to domestic hot water circulation and fixture connections as shown.
