Hot water supply and return lines connect to a heating coil through service valves, unions, a strainer, a Pete's plug, and a 2-way auto valve. Flexible pipe connections interface with the coil unit at full line size. An automatic air vent sits at the high point of the piping, and a 3/4-inch ball valve with a hose adaptor is installed for drainage. Unions are positioned to permit removing the coil without dismantling the header.
