A round duct is supported from a metal roof deck by a one-and-one-quarter-inch wide by sixteen-gauge sheet metal strap. The strap is secured to the underside of the metal roof deck using a double-fold connection fastened with a three-eighths-inch diameter bolt. The lower end of the strap wraps around the duct and is joined with a three-eighths-inch diameter bolt and nut.
