This schematic details a radiant heating manifold piping assembly connected to hot water supply and hot water return lines. One-half-inch radiant tubing loops connect to the manufacturer's manifold and must be kept within five percent of equivalent lengths. Shut-off valves and integral balancing valves are provided for each loop to balance the system to scheduled flows. An automatic air vent is installed at the high point of the assembly, with piping continuing per the floor plans.
HWR HWS A AUTOMATIC AIR VENT AT HIGH POINT SHUT-OFF VALVE, TYP. 1/2" RADIANT TUBING. INSTALL PER MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. LOOPS SHALL BE EQUIVALENT LENGTHS (WITHIN 5% OF EACH OTHER). TUBING MANUFACTURER'S MANIFOLD SEE PLANS FOR CONTINUATION BALANCING VALVES INTEGRAL TO MANIFOLD FOR EACH LOOP, TYP. BALANCE TO SCHEDULED FLOW
