Hot water supply (HWS) and hot water return (HWR) piping connects to the heating coil through full line size service valves and a strainer. A 3-way automatic valve regulates flow in conjunction with balance valves on both lines. Flexible pipe connections absorb movement at the coil interface, while unions are positioned to allow coil removal without dismantling the header. Additional components include a Pete's plug, a 3/8-inch ball valve with a capped 3/8-inch female national pipe thread port, a 3/4-inch ball valve with a hose adaptor, and an automatic air vent located at the high point.
