Suspended mechanical services are supported by a hanger strap wrapped around the equipment and secured with a three-eighths-inch-diameter ASTM A307 bolt. A band of the same size as the hanger strap wraps the assembly with a maximum thirty-six-inch diameter. A typical reference callout directs the builder to sheet S1.34 detail 2B for the brace attachment.
