Suspended equipment is supported by hanger rods equipped with vibration isolation units and lock nuts. Brace framing surrounds the equipment with a gap, and diagonal braces are provided on four sides for seismic or lateral stability. Equipment weighing over one hundred pounds requires the contractor to submit support details for approval by the contracting officer prior to installation.
