A dome bottom bypass feeder, equal to JL Wingert model DB-12HD, is mounted on a level concrete pad over a slab on grade and tied into primary loop supply and return headers. The feeder incorporates a funnel and a three-quarter-inch vent and fill valve at the top along with a pressure gauge. Piping connections include a one-inch bypass pipe with unions, a drain valve, a one-inch drain pipe routed to the nearest approved receptor, and multiple one-quarter-turn ball valves.
