An equipment support rail rests on a four-inch-wide minimum sixteen-gauge galvanized metal equipment curb anchored to the roof deck. The curb is flanked by roof insulation and covered with roofing provided by the general contractor. A twenty-gauge galvanized cap with counter flashing sits atop the curb, fastened with an anchor beneath the unit support legs and rails.
