Branch ducts connect to the main duct utilizing specific takeoff configurations and a balancing damper. The upper configuration features a straight section with a forty-five-degree angle, a three-fourths diameter throat radius, and a three-fourths diameter heel radius. The lower configuration incorporates a forty-five-degree takeoff with a six-inch vertical dimension specified for use at the last takeoff before outlets. Each branch duct includes an integrated balancing damper.
