This assembly features a damper blade housed within a rigid duct section, which is connected to an insulated sheet metal duct via a wire stop and casing clamp. A flexible wire casing runs from the damper's rack and pinion operator to a concealed regulator kit mounted flush with the ceiling. The flexible wire casing length is determined by manufacturer specifications. A cover plate conceals the regulator mechanism, which is adjusted using a socket wrench.
