A U.L. listed fire and smoke damper assembly penetrates a concrete floor over metal deck with a maximum six-inch opening on all sides. The damper sleeve is secured using retaining angles fastened to the sleeve, with the void filled with fire resistive material. A breakaway duct connection joins the ductwork to the assembly, and an operator actuator is coordinated for proper operation and access.
