This assembly consists of a two-foot by two-foot by two-inch deep vapor pocket formed within the four-inch drainage rock layer beneath a concrete slab. A 20-mil Drago Wrap soil gas barrier, or engineer-approved alternative, lines the pocket and is sealed with Drago seam tape. A 12-inch long, 1/4-inch diameter stainless steel screen is positioned within the pocket, which is filled with washed rock. A 1/2-inch diameter PEX pipe extends from the screen and terminates with a 1/2-inch PEX fitting shut-off valve. The entire assembly is topped by a 12-ounce non-woven geotextile layer beneath the concrete slab.
