Condensing units or heat pump units mount on neoprene vibration isolators resting on an architectural platform above the roof structure. Refrigerant liquid and suction piping connect to the unit via vibration eliminators, a factory-furnished sight glass, and a filter and drier. Piping routes down through a watertight flashing assembly at the roof penetration, with specific flashing requirements coordinated per architectural drawings. Piping continues below the roof structure to connect with ducted or ductless fan coil units.
