A sheet metal duct elbow configured for air intake or discharge with a radius equal to half the duct width and a minimum eighteen-inch clearance. The assembly incorporates internal stiffening angles and a one-half-inch mesh screen set back at a minimum 135-degree angle. All duct joints are made watertight through welding or soldering, and flashing is provided by others at the penetration. The outlet or inlet size is increased to twenty-five percent over the standard duct size to accommodate the screen area.
