An electronic trap primer assembly connects to a three-quarter-inch cold water service pipe equipped with a shut-off valve, union, and strainer. The water supply routes through the electronic trap primer unit, which incorporates a timer, solenoid valve, and vacuum breaker. One-half-inch distribution piping extends from the trap primer down through variable floor construction to supply multiple floor drains and floor sinks with required slope. A note requires the trap primer to be installed in an accessible ceiling or provided with an access door.
