Ceiling-hung equipment is suspended by vertical support rods fitted with rod stiffeners and secured with support members. Diagonal cable braces extend outward at angles between thirty and ninety degrees to provide transverse and longitudinal lateral restraint. The cables connect between the structure and the braced mechanical components using standard hardware connections.
