The duct is constructed from capped lined sheet metal or one-inch fiber board, with specific material requirements determined per the architectural or mechanical drawings. Cut openings are provided on the top of the duct for air transfer and sound attenuation. Sizing for both the duct and the top openings is determined per the drawings.
