A branch duct connects to a main duct at a forty-five degree angle using a lateral take-off fitting. Airflow direction arrows indicate the path from the main duct into the branch line. A damper is installed within the branch duct for flow regulation. A reducer transitions the main duct diameter downstream of the junction. Lateral take-off configuration is used unless otherwise noted on plans.
